Joining the Rally of Combating Novel Coronavirus

CFLD Indonesia donated one hundred thousands pieces of masks.

JAKARTA - CFLD Indonesia, subsidiary of world’s leading developer and operator of New Industry City, CFLD International, joined the rally of Indonesia’s effort to cope with the novel virus COVID-19 by donating 100,000 pieces of masks on 24 April 2020. The donated masks were distributed to several points including BNPB as the of Government’s coordinating agency in combating the virus. Besides, as many as 40,000 pieces of mask were handed over to Karawang and Tangerang regent offices who have distributed the masks to communities in need. Two villages at CFLD’s development sites at Tangerang New Industry City (TNIC) and Karawang New Industry City (KNIC) also received some donation that symbolizes the company’s support toward wellness of neighboring communities.

Speaking at the occasion, the representative of CFLD Indonesia said: “The COVID-19 pandemic has sparked a severe global crisis and we are all saddened to see the number of infected and death scontinuously increase. CFLD stepped up to join the rally of combating the virus by distributing hundred thousand of masks to relieve the massive shortage of masks in Indonesia and fight with the outbreak by protecting paramedics and local people with the masks.”

Recently the number infected by COVID-19in Indonesia increased rapidly, while masks were still in short supply. “It is in that sense that CFLD decided to import mask and donated to those inneed. We want to increase the safety level of our heroic paramedics who are at work saving lives and fighting the virus and protect people from being infected”, the representative added.
