G20 Industry Manufacturing Indonesia

Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said that the successful implementation of the G20 Summit would benefit the growth of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia.

The implementation of the G20 understands the importance of inclusive international cooperation in digital trade and the need for support for increasing added value through inclusive and sustainable investment in productive sectors, such as the downstream manufacturing sector, digital marketing, and services.

In addition, the G20 also bridges foreign investors with local companies. The G20 noted the addition of industrial issues to the TIIWG as an initiative in the Indonesian Presidency to discuss policy coherence between trade, investment and industry. And to continue to address the industry-related problems in the broader G20 process.
